Training
Instructors
CSAM offers Cued Speech classes based on need and instructor availability. Cued Speech Instructors teach individuals and groups the Cued Speech system. An introductory Cued Speech course will require approximately 20 hours of instruction. Proficiency and fluency require additional instruction and practice.

Certification
"The Testing, Evaluation, and Certification Unit establishes and maintains national standards for the profession of cued language transliteration. ... The TECUnit is also responsible for the certification of cued language transliterators (CLTs) at a national level via the Cued Language Transliterator National Certification Examination (CLTNCE)."
